Lunn produces pristin ultra-pure salt from the Thar desert in Rajasthan.

Desert salt is toxin free and has no traces of the microplastics found in sea salt. The flavour of desert salt is mild when compared to the harshness of ocean based salts.

Lunn Salt works in tandem with the natural rain cycle to produce their desert salt. Once the salt has been manually harvested, it is sun-dried before being packaged by hand.

The process goes on all year round. Winter salt is characterised by it’s pure white colour, whereas the intense Summer heat produces salt with a distinctive and beautiful golden hue.

Lunn’s parent company, Global Brand Resources, is a fair trade organsiation. They are committed to the organically harvested, non-industrial production of the purest desert salt.
